YARD SALE SUCCESSES!
2009 RESULTS:
From the outstanding items that were donated by all members and friends of MBRWF, to the expert staging under the guidance of Faye Jackson, Diane Miller, Martha Logan and Andrea Newmark, to the sales expertise of Rosalie Olson, Linda Lipscomb and Yvette Newnam, our profits exceeded $1100, which were carefully tabulated by treasurer Lana Van Aggelen.

But the HUGE kudos goes to our hostess and chef ... immediate past president Rosalie Olson, who provided the venue, and the outstanding "pre-sale" Friday night party. Over thirty-five members and guests attended the lively event. Chef Rosalie prepared a delicious assortment of gourmet delights, and there was plenty of wine and assorted libations on hand, including home made Sangria by ... Rosalie of course!

Saturday morning customers began arriving at 7 a.m., and by 11:30, there was very little left.

Thanks to all who donated wonderful items (Joanna again for beautiful "still in the box" shoes!). We still have one beautiful item left which we have on e-bay.  A beautiful hand made "wearable art" coat which was donated by Lida Sandera.

Half of the proceeds of this sale will be donated to the
Semper Fi Fund, helping wounded marines from Camp Pendleton.
